Since January 2004, the German doctors association is obligated to regularly attend certain trainings to keep their expert knowledge updated and to ensure and enhance their professional competence.
Thanks to all2e and the online training portal of the consortium for intensive care (AIM), doctors now have a comfortable alternative to long journeys and weekends at training centers.
Based on the eZ Publish technology, all2e GmbH developed a communication platform for doctors with a chat, an information sharing forum and a dedicated section for registered users. The internal, protected area provides publications of selected authors about different medical subjects. For instance, a registered user can take an online exam as seminar attendee after having studied a certain subject and with it get a certificate and gain Continuing Medical Education (CME) points.
all2e used an eZ Publish based technology for the implementation that completely met the customer's needs.
Besides the basic function of the portal, AIM also uses this platform to provide information about their courses offered as well as current reports and medical newspaper articles. eZ Publish enables AIM to manage their content completely by themselves.
